Standard one-time orders

We roast all our coffee by hand in small batches, and while we always do our best to dispatch orders the same day by 12:00 (Mon-Friday), we can't guarantee this for standard, one-time orders.

On busier days, even orders placed before 12:00 will sometimes be dispatched the next working day.  This is common on Mondays as we're busy with the weekend orders.

Club Orders

Scheduled club orders are guaranteed to be dispatched on the same day they are processed. This is because they're scheduled, so we can prep them all ready for roasting and dispatch the next morning. 

Delivery Costs & Times

Delivery is free on coffee orders of £10 or more, for standard one-time orders. For orders under £10, the delivery cost is £3.25. 

Club orders always get free delivery, regardless of order value. 

Royal Mail Tracked 24

All deliveries are via the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. 

This is a tracked delivery service with a next-working-day delivery aim (not a guarantee). 

The naming of their services causes mismanaged expectations. They name their services based on their "aim". How close they come to this aim depends largely on how the network is moving at that time. 

Please note: Free delivery is based on the value of coffee only. Gift cards don’t count towards the free delivery threshold.

Delivery to the Republic of Ireland is currently suspended due to issues with the customs charge on all items under €150, on goods being sent to Ireland from outside of the EU.

Weekends

We only dispatch orders on working days, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Mondays

Orders dispatched on Mondays often take longer to be delivered than those dispatched on other days of the week. Royal Mail (and most other couriers) often have bottlenecks on Mondays due to the number of packages they need to process from weekend orders. 

Roast Dates

We usually roast on the day of dispatch. Please note that we recommend leaving your beans to rest for at least 7 days from the roast date for the best results. 

If you're close to running out of beans & you need to crack open your new beans sooner, that's fine, but it's worth noting that the best results will generally come 7 days or more from roast date.
